Keyboarding II

 To receive advance high school credit in the module "Keyboarding 2" the student will demonstrate keyboarding competence:

1. Text entry on alphabetic keys at the rate of 30 words per minute for three one-minute timed writing periods using PROPER touch keyboarding fingering with a maximum of one error per writing.
   
   
2. Numeric entry of one to three digit numbers on numeric keypad at the rate of 100 key strokes per minute for three one-minute timed writing periods using PROPER touch keyboarding fingering with a maximum of one error per writing.
   
   
3. Proper technique including eye focus, keystroking, service keys and body position (hand, arm, body) to be applied consistently during the last quarter of the learning period.
   

You will be required to complete all of the 18 exercises in the Learning Lab and the Practice Pavillion. When you complete an exercise in the Learning Lab you go to the Practice Pavillion and complete the same exercise. You repeat this process until you have finished all the exercises in the Learning Lab and the Practice Pavillion.  Your records will be saved every time you use the computer.
