Grade 1-3 ICT Curriculum Document

Below, you will find the Grade 1-3 ICT Outcomes in the form of a Scope and Sequence. General Outcomes are listed in the first column, followed by specific outcomes, ideas for integration are in the third column (needs Acrobat Reader), and the fourth column provides a checklist for teachers to track what specific outcomes have been addressed. For each specific outcome there are links to lessons that address the particular specific outcome. Please note all specific outcomes must be completed by the time a student has completed grade three; in order to ensure this happens, each specific outcome is labelled with a Grade 1,2, or 3 to guide teachers in knowing to teach certain outcomes at certain grades.

It is understood the linked lessons are optional resources - they do not have to be used as long as outcomes are achieved by some means. It is also understood teachers can modify the linked lessons to flexibly incorporate environmental and other factors.

The curriculum is divided into three areas:

C: Communicating, Inquiring, Decision Making and Problem Solving
F:
Foundational Operations, Knowledge and Concepts
P: Process for Productivity
