Chief Sunrise Education Centre is a K-12 school serving 70 students on the Hay River Reserve. Chief Sunrise prides itself on providing programs that foster student development through intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and physical growth. Chief Sunrise offers an Aboriginal Headstart Program, an emphasis upon literacy, and a traditional skills program complemented by on-the-land activities.
