Council Priorities

While the South Slave Divisional Education Council is focused on three key priorities - Literacy, Numeracy and Social Responsibility - we are also maintaining or implementing a series of cross-goal strategies and partnerships intended to support achievements in these key areas. The cross-goal strategies include: Culture-based Education; Community Education Planning; Parent Engagement; Drug, Alcohol and Crime Prevention Strategies; Inclusive Schooling; Student Assessment; Evaluation and Reporting; Homework and Study Skills; New Teacher Mentoring; Technology; the South Slave Communities' Learning Network; and the South Slave Healthy Communities Partnership.
