An Annotated Bibliography"Strong Like Two People"
This music video, shot on location in the South Slave and featuring many of the talented students from Fort Smith, Hay River and Fort Resolution, was created by the South Slave Divisional Education Council to support the teaching of two important cultural concepts: the need to be "strong like two people" and the need to discover, nurture and share your talents. Both teachings are incorporated into Dene Kede, the NWT's Dene cultural curriculum. The song was written by award winning Cree Hip Hop artist Shawn Bernard aka Phoenix and recorded in 2009.
